Okay, you're not going to be using your air conditioner during the winter, but it's still a project that should be undertaken now. If you wait until next summer to repair or replace your air conditioner, you might end up paying a higher cost for it, since AC prices tend to go up in warmer weather. Plus, if you wait to long to take care of your air conditioner problems, you could end up spending part of your summer in the heat, while you wait for an opening in your AC technicians busy schedule.

Protect Your Home Against Water Damage
You've seen all the flooding go on around the US right now. The last thing you want is to end up with flood waters in your home when the next big storm blows through. If you've got a septic system, now's a really good time to get it inspected, especially if you're expecting a lot of rain this year. When the tank is empty, it's easier for your septic system to process all the extra water that might be coming it's way when the rains arrive. Not only that, but if you have your septic system serviced now, you won't need to worry about it for another three to five years.
